How Long does it take for banks to offer a house you want to buy for sale?

We fell in love with this house and its been for sale for like a year and our realtor send the offer to the bank like 4 days ago and they still havent replied. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to accept or deny the offer?

I have offers pushing 3 months.

REO’s are very slow. A fast one is the exception. I would not worry for another 4 weeks.

If you did not offer the full asking price it will take much longer then asking price, as the whole thing needs to be reapproved.
